Double-click Macintosh HD (Startup Disk) / Library / Printers / Brother / Utilities / BRAdmin Light.jar file.

BRAdmin Light will search for new devices automatically.

If the print server is set to its factory default settings without using a DHCP/BOOTP/RARP server, the device will appear as Unconfigured in the BRAdmin Light utility screen.

You can find the node name and Ethernet address by printing out the Printer Settings Page. See Printing the Printer Settings Page.

Choose STATIC from Boot Method. Enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway (if needed) of your print server.

With the correctly programmed IP address, you will see the Brother print server in the device list.

2000 users For Mac OS X 10.3.9 or greater users Double-click Mac OS X or Macintosh HD (Startup Disk) / Library / Printers / KONICA MINOLTA / Utilities / BRAdmin Light.jar file. Choose the print server which you want to change the settings. Page 23: Using Web Based Management (Web Browser) To Change The Print/Scan Server Settings.

The Brother BRAdmin Light software is designed to run on Microsoft® Windows®. By using the BRAdmin light software it's possible to change some network settings.

  1. BRAdmin Light.jar file. B BRAdmin Light will search for new devices automatically. C Double-click the unconfigured device. Note. If the print server is set to its factory default se ttings (if you do not use a DH CP/BOOTP/RARP server), the device will appear as Unconfigured in the BRAdmin Light.

After downloading and installing the file, start the BRAdmin Light utility, by clicking Start --> Programs --> Brother --> BRAdmin Light --> BRAdmin Light

  1. When you start the BRAdmin Light software you will see a screen similar to the following:
  2. From this screen we can see all Brother network connected printer and multifunction devices. If you wish to edit one of those devices double click a device and enter the administration password. You will then see a screen similar to the following:
