Downloading Stata Go to the Stata download site. You will be greeted with the following screen: Input your username and password in the prompt. Duke Software for Students, Faculty, and Staff. Duke negotiates with vendors to make software available to the Duke community for discounted rates or, in many cases, for free. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please e-mail the site-license office at site@duke.edu.
Students currently enrolled at degree-granting institutions may purchase Stata at the prices listed below. Proof of student status (a copy of your university ID card) is required.

Stata 16 is available to download. Credentials, including your license code(s) and serial number(s) will be sent to you by email when your purchase is completed.
Stata is available in 6-months, Annual and Multi-Year license terms. Please select your license term from the tabs below and then select your license.
Stata annual and multi-year licenses offer users a lower upfront cost and ensure that you stay on the current version of Stata.
To upgrade your Stata Student License, you must own a perpetual license of Stata 15 or earlier. Select the Upgrade tab below and then select your desired license.
